Well, I headed off to CVS with such a great battle plan. But, you know what they say about good intentions! I still managed to do alright, though. I'll explain what happened after the breakdown, I only needed one transaction today.
Transaction 1:
(4) Suave Naturals body lotion @ 3.00
-(2) BOGO MQ's
(1) Irish Spring body wash @ 3.50
(1) Irish Spring deoderant @3.50
-$1/1 MQ
-$1.50/1 CVS coupon from the magic coupon machine from a few weeks ago
(2) Aquafresh toothpaste @ 2.49
-(2) $1/1 MQ'S
-$1/1 CVS coupon printed from their website
less a $10 ECB earned last week
Total OOP = $2.48 plus tax, and I earned $4 from the Suave, $4 from the Irish Spring and $1 green bag tag.
Total Profit $6.52!!!
Now, I had a few other items on my list, but of course the store I went to either did not carry these items or they are out of stock. I could have asked for some rain checks, but did not care enough to ask. Also the extremely rude cashier (she let 4 people in line wait while she was fiddling around behind the registers) threw a coupon back at me and told me I could not use 2 CVS coupons for the same item. I have never heard this before, maybe she is right, but the attitude was unnecessary. Oh well, you win some, you loose some!
